Welcome to Contemporary British Painting.

‘Contemporary British Painting’ (also known as CBP) is an artist led organisation which explores and promotes current trends in British painting through group exhibitions, talks, publications, and other activities. The group is run entirely by volunteers from within the membership.

And the winner is….

We are delighted to announce that the winner of the Contemporary British Painting Prize 2024 is Daniel H Bell, and our Highly Commended winner is Olivia Sterling.

Sophia Rosenthal is the winner of the Blyth Gallery Exhibition Award, announced at the opening of the London leg of the prize at Thames-Side Studios Gallery.

The winners of the inaugural Judith Tucker Memorial Prize were announced on November 30th at the opening of the Sheffield showing of the prize at Persistence Works. Our congratulations to Sophia Rosenthal and Harriet Mena Hill!
